Lip Makeup

We have compiled a list of tips for you when you apply your makeup for your lips. The first thing you need to do is take care of your lips. If they are dry, cracking, or anything similiar, lipstick won't be able to hide the imperfections.

Lip Protection and Care

Protect those lips from the sun. Apply lip balm that has sunscreen everyday! This is very important. Applying lip balm before lipstick will also help your lipstick stay on longer and apply smoother.

Exfoliate your lips every night. The best way to make it a habit is to exfoliate every night after brusing your teeth. Take a dry wash cloth and gently rub your lips. You can also use your toothbrush which makes it more convenient.

Avoid licking your lips with your tongue. We realize that your tongue will be touching your lips quite often. Try to minimize it. Eat lots of fruit and vegetables too. This will help your lips look better. Avoid chewing tobacco and smoking.

Application Tips

Use a lip brush to apply your lipstick. Not only will it go on smoother, but you will use less product as well. Before you apply any lipstick, make sure you apply lip liner first. This will do a couple things for your lips. It will keep your lipstick from fading and it will help define your lip shape. Those are all the tips we have for now.
